Privacy Policy

AnzanPro (“we”, “us”) makes abacus and mental-maths learning apps. This policy covers the AnzanPro Kids app (for children and their parents), the AnzanPro Tutor app (for tutors), the AnzanPro Academy app (for centre owners) and the website anzanpro.com.

AnzanPro is run by AnzanPro Private Limited, a company registered in India, at Badrinath Marg, District Pauri (Garhwal), Kotdwara, Uttarakhand - 246149, India. We decide how this information is used: under the EU and UK GDPR we are the “data controller”, and under India's DPDP Act the “data fiduciary”. You can reach us at privacy@anzanpro.com. We do not sell personal information, we show no ads in our apps or on our website, and our apps use no advertising ID. We do advertise AnzanPro elsewhere: on our public web pages, and only if you allow it, Google Ads cookies measure those ads and let us show them to people who visited (section 11).

The Kids app is made for children aged about 4 to 14, used through a parent's account. Our approach follows the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP) and the EU/UK GDPR:

• A parent signs in first. Only the parent can add a child, and must tick a consent box before the child’s profile is created. We record that consent (when, and which version of this notice).
• We collect only what the learning features need, and a birth month instead of a full birth date.
• No ads, no advertising ID, no behavioural profiling. Usage analytics are switched off in the Kids app; only crash reports are sent, without the account ID attached.
• Purchases and the parent settings are behind a parent PIN.
• Voice answers are recognised on the device and no audio is recorded. Only anonymous text of the numbers heard is shared to improve voice answers, and a parent can switch it off in Settings (section 2).
• A parent can see, download, correct or delete a child’s data at any time (section 8).

Challenges are short timed maths races in the Kids app, for children with an active membership. A child can host a lobby and share its QR code or 6-character code, join someone else's lobby, or be matched with other children at the same level.

• Other players see only the child’s first name and surname initial (for example “Avyaan A.”), their score and their rank. They never see a photo, school, age, location or any contact details.
• There is no chat and no way to send a message or free text to another player.
• Joining a child’s lobby makes the two children “friends” in the app, so the host can invite them again. The host can remove a player from their lobby.
• Entry uses in-app credits that children earn by practising. Credits can only be earned, never bought; they have no money value and cannot be exchanged for money.

We share only in these cases:

• People you choose inside AnzanPro: a tutor you link to a child, the centre a child belongs to, and other players in Challenges (section 5).
• Service providers who process data for us under contract, listed below. They may not use it for their own purposes.
• When the law requires it, or to protect someone’s safety.

Download (export). In the app: More → Manage Your Data → Export my data. You get one file (JSON) with everything we hold for your account and your children. You can ask for one export per hour; the download link works for 7 days.

Correct. Edit your profile or a child's profile in the app at any time, or email us.

Delete a child. Removing a child in the app deletes that child's data from our servers straight away.

Delete your account. In the app: More → Manage Your Data → Delete my account, or on the web at anzanpro.com/delete-account. What happens:

• At once: the account is switched off, every device is signed out, and syncing stops.
• Deleting the account does not cancel a Google Play or App Store subscription. Cancel it in the store first, or it keeps renewing.
• For 30 days you can change your mind: sign in again and choose Restore.
• After the 30 days, an automatic job that runs every few hours permanently erases the account, every child profile and all their learning data, settings, photos and exports. The only things kept are listed in section 7 (purchase records for tax law, and records with your identity removed).
• Deleting also wipes the app’s data on that device. Each app has its own account: deleting your Tutor account does not delete your Kids account.

Your other rights. Depending on where you live (GDPR in the EU/UK, DPDP in India, COPPA and state laws in the US) you can also ask what we hold and why, object to or limit some uses, withdraw consent (for example the analytics switch in the Tutor app), and nominate someone to act for you. You can complain to your data protection authority (in India, the Data Protection Board). Email privacy@anzanpro.com; we reply within 30 days at the latest.

Everything travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Data saved on the phone is in an encrypted database, and deleting your account destroys its key. Our servers run on Cloudflare, and only the people who run AnzanPro can reach production data.

The website uses necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your language and country. Everything else is your choice on the cookie banner, one category at a time, and you can change your mind under Cookie Preferences in the footer:

• Analytics — website statistics from Cloudflare Web Analytics, PostHog and Google Analytics.
• Advertising — Google Ads cookies that measure our ads and show our ads to people who visited. Used only with your permission, only on our public web pages, and never on pages about a child: dashboards, certificate verification, QR and challenge pages, sign-in, account deletion and restore, and checkout never load them, whatever you chose.

Nothing optional loads before you choose, and “Reject all” is as easy as “Accept all”. Details are in our Cookie Policy.

If you have a complaint about how we handle personal data, or want to use any of the rights in section 8, write to our Grievance Officer. This is the contact required by India's DPDP Act, and it is also how people in the EU, the UK and everywhere else reach the data controller.

We acknowledge a grievance promptly and resolve it within 30 days at the latest. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India, or to the data protection authority where you live.
