1. Our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation
AnzanPro is a maths-learning service built for children. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and for any attempt to groom, contact, or harm a child through our apps or website.
Any account found taking part in CSAE is closed at once, and its access to every AnzanPro app is removed.
We remove the content, keep the records the law requires us to keep, and report it: to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline, and in India through the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in). We cooperate with law enforcement.
We follow the child-safety laws of the countries we serve, including India’s POCSO Act and IT Act, the US Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and the EU/UK GDPR.
2. Safe by design: how children can and cannot interact
Children never create accounts. A parent signs in and adds each child; a child is never asked for an email address or a phone number.
There is no chat, no messaging and no free text between children, and children cannot share photos, video or audio with anyone. Profile pictures come from our built-in picture library only.
Every child sees Challenges (short timed maths races), but can only play after a parent switches on “Allow Challenges” for that child in the parent area. Other players see only the child’s first name and surname initial, score and rank — never a photo, age, school, location or contact details. A host can remove a player from their lobby.
A tutor can be linked to a child only when the parent accepts the link in the parent area — also when the child scans the tutor’s QR code or types an invite code. A linked tutor sees that child’s progress and can send assignments; the parent sees the same assignments and can remove the tutor at any time.
Purchases, settings and the parent area are behind the parent’s PIN. There are no ads in the apps and no marketing to children.
Voice answers are recognised on the phone; no audio is ever recorded or sent to us.
3. Parental consent and parents’ rights (COPPA)
Before a child’s profile is created, the signed-in parent must give consent in the app; we record when, and which version of our notice they agreed to. What we collect about a child, why, and who sees it is set out in full in our Privacy Policy (section 4).
A parent can review, download, correct or delete their child’s data at any time in the app (More → Manage Your Data), or by emailing us.
A parent can refuse further collection by removing the child; the child’s data is then erased from our servers straight away.
We never ask a child for more information than the activity needs, and we never require it to take part.
4. How to report a concern
If you see anything on AnzanPro that could put a child at risk — a player, a tutor, an assignment, or anything else — tell us straight away:
